Real strategy, powerful impact.

I work with brands, founders, and organisations across sectors to shape messaging, build credibility, and communicate with intention. Here’s a selection of projects where I’ve brought clarity, creativity, and calm strategy—without the fluff.
Uome – Fintech with Freelancers in Mind
Scope: PR Support, Brand Strategy, Messaging Development, Comms Strategy, Stakeholder Engagement
Uome is a UK-based fintech platform helping freelancers and small businesses get paid, manage inventory, and invoice with ease. I was brought in during their early-stage launch to help shape the brand story and messaging, develop their first communications strategy, and advise on user-aligned features that would support long-term growth.
What I did:
- Created Uome’s first communications strategy, aligned with launch goals and stakeholder needs
- Suggested a now-core feature: multi-way invoicing, designed to support freelancer collaboration
- Supported user testing and provided insights to enhance the user experience
- Developed Uome’s early straplines and messaging to position it as a freelancer-first platform
- Secured their first pieces of press coverage, which contributed to early investor interest
- Built visibility through key event participation and stakeholder engagement
- Prepared the founder for media interviews and developed/directed a spotlight video showcasing the founder’s story
Impact: Strategic insight helped sharpen the brand’s positioning and build early trust. The communications strategy, visibility efforts, and PR support contributed to investor engagement and a confident launch narrative.
Coverage highlights: Fintech Times, Finextra, The Banker, Qorus, Startups Magazine, Fintech Finance News
Say less, mean more: strategy that sticks.
Emma Sleep – Conscious PR for a Global Wellness Brand

Emma Sleep is a global sleep and wellness brand with a strong European footprint. I was brought on to support UK PR strategy, offering a culturally aware lens and helping shape media engagement that would feel relevant and non-performative for a British audience.
What I did:
- Advised on culturally relevant positioning for UK-specific campaigns
- Helped shape media messaging for wellness-related features and founder profiling
- Provided counsel around conscious storytelling without relying on typical brand tropes
Impact: Our light-touch work supported Emma Sleep in refining their UK visibility approach and aligning messaging with values-conscious audiences.

Professional Standards Authority – Championing Accredited Care
Scope: Comms Strategy, Messaging Development, Campaign Concept Creation
The Professional Standards Authority (PSA) brought me in to support the launch of a strategy aimed at promoting their accredited registers across health and care professions. Rather than a media-first approach, this work focused on impactful messaging, stakeholder relevance, and creative direction.
What I did:
- Developed a communications and campaign concept that could be shared across professional bodies
- Advised on tone and message clarity to engage both regulators and the public
- Proposed a storytelling approach using video to highlight the diverse journeys of professionals across different registers
Impact: Helped shape a creative campaign concept that aligned with PSA’s strategic aims, offering reusable and adaptable messaging tools for partners and registrants.
Quietly strategic, always considered.
